One Pot Bacon Rumble Macaroni

Ingredients


400g Rumble Pasta

2 Tbsp olive oil

750g bacon, crumble or sliced bite sizes

1 pc medium onion, chopped

4 cloves of garlic, minced

4 cups chicken stock

550g diced tomatoes, canned

1 cup milk

rock salt to taste

freshly ground pepper to taste

2 cups cheddar cheese, grated or shredded

100g fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Directions


Step 1: Sa malaking saute pan or sauce pan over medium high heat, add olive oil, onions and bacon. Cook until lightly browned and bacon fat has rendered.

Step 2: Ilagay ang garlic at lutuin hanggang bago mag-brown o mga 30 seconds.

Step 3: Add chicken stock, canned diced tomatoes, milk or cooking cream, raw Rumble Pasta, salt and ground black pepper.

Step 4: Pakuluan ang mixturel, takpan, and reduce heat to low. Simmer for about 15 minutes, or until pasta is tender at halos wala nang tubig.

Step 5: Turn off the heat at ilagay ang ½ ng cheese saka haluin.

Step 6: Sprinkle remaining cheese on top and cover for about 5 minutes to melt cheese.

Step 7: Top and garnish with chopped parsley.

Step 8: If there is still a lot of thin liquid, you can spoon some of that out before adding the cheese. Remember, you need some liquid to create the sauce.

Notes: If there no liquid left and pasta is still somewhat raw, add 2-3 Tablespoons of water at a time until the pasta noodles are cooked and al dente. Once cooked, add the cheese.
